All requests related to the processing of personal data — including the exercise of data subject rights set forth in article 18 of the LGPD (section 09 below) — should be sent through this channel.

This Policy covers personal data processing carried out in connection with the operation of Weber Advogados’ institutional website at weberadvogados.com. It applies to all visitor interactions with the site, in particular the contact form available at /en/contact.

This Policy does not regulate the processing of personal data of the firm’s clients, which is governed by separate contractual instruments and is subject to attorney–client privilege under Law No. 8,906/1994 (Brazilian Bar Statute).

4.1 Data provided by the data subject. When using the contact form at /en/contact, the visitor may provide:

• Name
• Company (optional)
• E-mail address
• Phone number (optional)
• Message content

Form submission is delivered via an HTTPS request to the site’s own server (a PHP handler on Hostinger), which forwards the content to administrativo@weberadvogados.com by e-mail. No data is stored in a database or shared with third parties: the flow is exclusively visitor → firm’s server → firm’s inbox. The visitor’s IP address and user-agent are included in the e-mail body as a minimal record of the submission.

4.2 Data collected automatically. The hosting provider (Hostinger Brasil Ltda.) records standard Internet log data:

• IP address
• Browser user agent
• Pages accessed and access time

These records are used exclusively for security and integrity purposes, are managed by the hosting provider and are retained for a maximum of 6 (six) months.

The processing of personal data by Weber Advogados is based on the following legal bases under article 7 of the LGPD:

• Consent (art. 7, I) — when the data subject voluntarily submits the contact form
• Compliance with legal or regulatory obligation (art. 7, II) — for data retention when required by professional rules applicable to the legal profession or by competent authority
• Legitimate interest (art. 7, IX) — for the security and integrity of the site

Specific purposes:

• Respond to inquiries initiated by the visitor
• Assess the feasibility of providing legal services
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations arising from the practice of law
• Maintain technical security and integrity of the site

Weber Advogados does not share personal data with third parties for commercial, advertising or marketing purposes.

Sharing with third parties may occur only in the following cases:

• When strictly necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to enforce the lawful rights of the firm or its clients
• With technical service providers essential to the site operation — currently only the hosting provider Hostinger Brasil Hospedagem de Sites Ltda. (CNPJ 18.225.838/0001-30), under the applicable terms with that vendor
• Pursuant to judicial decision or request from a competent authority, subject to attorney–client privilege and the professional prerogatives of counsel

weberadvogados.com uses only strictly necessary cookies:

• wb-cookie-consent— stored in the visitor’s browser to record acknowledgement of this Policy. Contains no identifiable personal data and is not shared with third parties.

The site does not use analytics tools, social-media pixels, advertising cookies or cross-site tracking mechanisms. Typefaces displayed on the site are served from this domain (self-hosted), without requests to external CDNs. The map embedded on the Contact page is provided by OpenStreetMap, which does not install persistent cookies on the visitor’s device.

The visitor may, at any time, remove the wb-cookie-consent cookie through browser settings.

• Messages received through the contact form: kept by the firm in its e-mail inbox for the minimum period necessary to address the request and, in any event, for no longer than the periods set forth in Law No. 8,906/1994 and in the rules of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) on document retention for client matters
• Server access logs: 6 (six) months — managed exclusively by Hostinger
• Essential cookies: persist in the visitor’s browser until manual removal

Under article 18 of the LGPD, the data subject has the right to obtain, upon request:

• Confirmation of the existence of processing (item I)
• Access to data (item II)
• Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data (item III)
• Anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary, excessive or unlawfully processed data (item IV)
• Data portability to another service or product provider (item V)
• Deletion of personal data processed based on consent, subject to the exceptions of art. 16 (item VI)
• Information about public and private entities with which the controller has shared data (item VII)
• Information about the possibility of not providing consent and the consequences of such refusal (item VIII)
• Withdrawal of consent (item IX)

To exercise any of these rights, the data subject should send a request to the DPO via the channel indicated in section 02. The response will be provided within a reasonable period of up to 15 (fifteen) days, extendable in justified cases.

Weber Advogados adopts reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect personal data under its control against unauthorized access and accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, communication or dissemination.

Messages received through the contact form and any subsequent communications between the data subject and the firm are subject to the attorney–client privilege as established by articles 7, II and 34, VII of Law No. 8,906/1994 and article 25 of the Code of Ethics and Discipline of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

Weber Advogados does not carry out international transfers of personal data. The website hosting infrastructure is physically located in Brazilian territory (data center in São Paulo).

This Policy may be updated at any time. The current version is always the one published at weberadvogados.com/en/privacy, with the date of the last update identified at the beginning of the document.

Material changes will be communicated, as applicable, via a notice on the site.

This Policy is governed by Brazilian law, in particular Law No. 13,709/2018 (Brazilian General Data Protection Law — LGPD) and the Brazilian Internet Framework Act (Law No. 12,965/2014).

The courts of the Judicial District of the State Capital of São Paulo shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from this Policy, the parties expressly waiving any other forum, however privileged.
